Active participation of Journalism students in Manthan

Rama University organized the highly anticipated Techno and Cultural fest from 17th April 2019 to 20th April 2019. The four-day event hosted several seminars, exhibitions, quiz competition, and cultural programs dotted throughout the day. Cultural events were organized on the last day, in which students of Journalism and Mass Communication( JMC) actively participated.
They organized a street-play /Nukkad Natak to raise awareness on the electoral rights of the citizen and to motivate people to cast vote in Lok Sabha election. The participants in street play were Anushka Pandey, Anushka Mishra, Arpit Kr. Dixit-Students of BJMC 1st year, Abhay Singh and Nishant Pal- student of MJMC 1st year, Jyoti Srivastava, student of PGDJMC. Their performance was well-received by the audience they bagged the second prize for it.
In ramp walk competition, two students of BJMC made a place in the top five finalists, Ashutosh Tiwari won the first prize while Ankur Tripathi was the third runnerup and got fourth place. Arisha Moazzam also participated in ramp walk, however, she couldn't make it to the finalists. Besides the ramp walk, Ankur Tripathi also participated in the dance show. Furthermore, Vaibhav Mishra, student of BJMC 1st year participated in PubG and won first runner-up award. Finally, Tanya Lohia, student of IInd year, Journalism & Mass Communication was honored for anchoring.
Department of Journalism and Mass Communication( JMC) congratulates the students for their active participation and looks forward to more participation from the students in the upcoming competitions.
