Biotechnology organized an oral presentation competition, ENIGMA-2k17

Xenobiotics Club of Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Rama University organized ENIGMA-2K17, an oral presentation competition for students of Biotechnology on October 12, 2017.
The theme of the competition was recent advances in the areas of Biotechnology. Students presented the topics from different arenas of Biotechnology such as Nanobots: Artificial Blood, Circadian Rhythm and its molecular mechanism, Biomining, Modern methods of DNA sequencing, Biosynthetic Leaves, Personalized Medicine, Cellular Ageing, Therapeutic Enzymes, Transgenic Plants, Inbreeding Depression, Applications of Nanobiotechnology and many more.
This event provided a platform to students to showcase their technical skills as well as the understanding of their area on interest. It also enabled the students to comprehend the scope of Biotechnology in different industries and research activities that aim to provide multiple benefits to the society and environment.
The event was remarkably organized by Ms. Sapna Jain with support of Dr. Ajay Kumar (Head of the Department), Dr. Vivek Srivastava and Ms. Urvashi Srivastava. The competition was judged by Mr. Anjani Kumar Srivastava and Mr. Ajit Pratap Singh Yadav.
Best presentation awards were given to Ms. Amaan Fatima Rizvi, Mr. Akash Arora from B.Tech (BT) IV year; Ms. Deepika Tripathi from B.Tech (BT) III year and Ms. Shivani Srivastava from B.Tech (BT) II year.
