Day 1 of the Two Day Workshop on Television (News) Production Bagged Huge Applaud

Today, on December 17, 2021, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Rama University, Kanpur, organized the 1st day of the two-day workshop on Television news production to be held from December 17 to December 18, 2021. The event was galvanized by the gracious presence of Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, Registrar, Rama University, Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, Dean, Faculty of commerce and management, Dr. Aditya Mishra, Dean, Faculty of professional studies, Dr. Ravikant Gupta, Dean, Faculty of Juridical Sciences, and Dr. Kamran Nakavi, Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Mr. Shailendra Sharma, Managing Editor, UC Media Group, the expert of today's workshop, educated the audience on the related topic. The further details of the event are mentioned below.

About the Event:
Registrar Shri Prabhat Ranjan, in his speech, said that this workshop is very beneficial for the skill development of the students for future exposure in media houses. Referring to the knowledge and experiences of the workshop's expert, Mr. Shailendra Sharma talked about sharing his experience with the students even further. The Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dr. Aditya Mishra, thanked the university management for their cooperation and guidance in organizing this workshop.
He described this workshop as necessary for the students who want to make a career in television news channels. He said that students would get practical information about all formats of television news in the workshop. Students will be given practical knowledge of scriptwriting, copy editing, video recording techniques, voice-over, video editing, video effects, etc. Special guests Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, Dr. Kamran Naqvi, and Dr. Ravikant Gupta extended their best wishes to the students and congratulated the Department of Journalism for this critical event.
