27 Jun 2020
There is no doubt that online study is very useful according to nowadays situations. Mobile phones, tablets are playing a majo r role in society. It is an easy communicating medium between the students and faculty. But every technology that provides such benefits comes with consequent prices. When teens and students use the cell phone for continue longer duration must aware about how phone affect the body. In this blog, I will discuss some important factor which is caused by longer duration uses of mobile phone, laptop, and online study.
- Teens Tendonitis: Students have developed the tendency to addiction of cell phone, its leads to Teen Tendonitis. It can cause pain in hands, back, neck due to poor postural habits during prolong the duration of sitting. Even arthritis down the line.
- Stress: The students spend too much time throughout the day with cell phones are more prone to stress and fatigue. It can also lead to psychological disorders in some cases.
- Sleep loss: Most of the students keep their cell phones nearby while sleeping to continuing study. They feel pressured to remain reachable around to clock. It leads to sleep interruption. Students also become irritable when they are sleep deprived.
- Anxiety: During classes as a primary mode of communication if network is disrupted, and students missing any important class or some time students unable to listen to the clear voice of the relevant faculty during lecture, they feel an increased anxiety level. And students also can’t understand the practical thing through the cell phone.
- Risk of cancer: Research shows thatthe electromagnetic radiation emitted by mobile phone get absorbed in the tissue when we hold the phone for a longer time. During the growing age, the nervous system of teens has a greater risk of developing brain cancer.
- Eyes Problems: A recent study says that smartphones may ruin your eyesight. Research at the University of Toledo, In Oheo, has found that exposure to blue light –the glow emitted from most smartphone, tablets, laptops promote the growth Poisonous Molecule in your eyes leading to macular degeneration.
- Cybercrime: Although high profile cyber-attacks are intentionally designed for publicity, they underline that cybercrime is a very real threat to billions of online users. A recent survey revealed that some companies are losing in excess of 5 million in stolen data. And every student is not aware ofthese things.
- Technical Issues - As you can see, webinars offer a multitude of advantages for those striving to reach the biggest audience at a minimal cost. However, like any communication medium, they are not without their flaws.Technical issues are more critical problems, if you lose connection during a webinar, it is over. If you are disconnected during a live performance, the quality of your presentation may suffer. This is not the issue with live performances. While some may be too shy to raise their hands and ask a question for everyone to hear,
- Limited Interaction-One of the main downsides of online classes is the lack of interaction between the participants and the presenter. Since everything is conducted online, There is just audiovisual interaction lacking physical interaction.
- Lack of environmental control-The The presenter has no control over the participants, Attendees could be on their bed wearing pajamas while attending a class, and also presenter cannot ensure that there will be no interruptions or distractions of sorts which leads to a lack of focus.
- Poor Internet connectivity in Rural Areas: Many times students had to trek for a few kilometers in certain areas to get a proper signal so that they could attend classes or submit their assignments online. Our village is one of the places where basic communication facilities are missing and villagers have to walk out of the village area at the time where they get signal on their phones.
- Conclusion: There is no single formula for the upgraded education system. Your choice should be grounded on your personal circumstances and available objectives, not on what’s trending, or what others are doing. This blog only means to make the choice between online or live classes easier.
