Faculty of Dental Sciences celebrated Children’s Day

India celebrates 14th November as “Children’s Day”, to remember our first Prime Minister Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru on his birthday and for his affection for children. This day is significantly celebrated to increase awareness of the rights, care, and education of children across the country with full enthusiasm.
Rama University – Faculty of Dental Sciences – Department of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry celebrated “Children’s Day” on 14th Nov 2019 with full zeal and love for our Pedodontics patients. We organized a free dental checkup, coloring competition, and cake cutting ceremony along with an audio-visual presentation to educate and raise awareness among the kids as well as their parents about importance of milk dentition and how to maintain good oral hygiene and be caries-free.
The program was conducted under the able guidance of our Principal in charge – Dr. Sujit Panda, Head of the department Dr. Anil Kohli along with MDS staff Dr.Ashish Katiyar, Dr. Garima Singh, Dr.Karuna Sharma, Dr. Rahul Katyayan, & Postgraduates Dr.Santwana, Dr. Jasveen and all undergraduate students of the Department.
