Rules & Regulations
NOTE - Registration will be closed on 24 September 2022.
Please submit the registration fees along with registration form to the assigned Student Co-ordinators.

- Singing
- Only Individual participation as allowed.
- Solo 5 entries / Duet 4 entries /Group 3 entries are allowed from each college/institute
- Duration of the Solo , Duet & group performance shall be 3 mins , 4 mins & 5 mins respectively
- Participated must bring their own musical instrument or Karaoke Track.
- Karaoke track must be submitted to the event coordinator 2 days before the performance.
- Time for stage / instrument setting is maximum 2 mins.
- Participants may sing any mainstream Bollywood song, or any song .Performing an original composition will fetch bonus points.
- The use of cell phones refer to lyrics is not permitted.
- Judgment will be based on selection of instruments overall impression.

Rs. 200 (for Duet),
Rs. 300 (for Group)
- Dance
Solo 5 entries / Duet 4 entries /Group 3 entries are allowed from each college/institute
- Duration of the Solo/ Duet shall be 4 Mins and for group shall be 5 mins.
- A Team of 3-10 members will be allowed.
- Soundtrack should be handed over in a pen-drive, in person before the event begins
- Participants are free to use any props of their choice. No Use of fire on stage.
- Only two minutes will be provided for setup.
- The songs and costumes selected should be decent.
- Participants must be present at the venue at least an hour before the assigned time. A participant who is not present shall forfeit his chance to participate.
- Costume and Props should be arranged by participants.
- Use of obscure words in tracks or vulgar steps is prohibited
- Judgments will be done basic of dance step /costume expression / synchronization.

- Graffiti
- One team from each faculty / institute is allowed.
- The participants from outside of Rama university should get their own materials such as brushes and paints etc. needed for the competition.
- Only wall area will be provided by the organizers.
- Incomplete paintings and incorrectly spelled words are disqualified.
- Participants will be judged on the basis of- creativity/ innovation/theme / color /clarity.
- The wall dimensions will be informed to the teams on spot.
- The theme of graffiti will be “Color Blast “and “Shradhanjali” .
Registration Fee: Rs. 100
- Photography
- The photography should be relevant to the theme of Jalsa.
- Photographers will be provided with the theme on Spot, and will be given time from 11: 00 A.M to 3: 00 P.M.
- On same day participants will submit soft copies of their photographs.
- There will be 5 rounds of the competition based on which participants will be judged.
- Soft copies of the photography can be submitted on Pen drive at the allotted time.
- Max. of 2 Photography can be submitted per students per day.
- The photography that is submitted should be as Captured within the campus .
- Each college will be allowed only 5 entries for the event.
- No edits, no filters are allowed.
- Provides technical details of image to retain the originality.
- The photographs may be used by Rama university for display or publication purposes, but when used so credit to the photographer shall be given.
- The decision of the Judges and the discretion of the organizers will be final and binding. The judgment criteria are as follows: • Interpretation of Theme • Relevance of Theme • Creativity • Aesthetic Appeal.
Registration Fee: Rs. 100
- Short film
- Each college will be allowed only 2 entries for the event.
- The short film should be 10 minutes’ long
- Try your best to give your short movie a professional look.
- The Topic will be “Nari tu Narayani” and “Colors of India”
- The judgment criteria for the movie is as follows: best direction / Understanding and interpretation of subject matter / Coherence /Execution and Overall Impact.
- All this will be examined and assessed from a holistic perspective and everything from camerawork, direction and visual choices to performances and story elements will be properly observed
- The short films have to be strictly submitted in pen drive & by 29 sept to the coordinators.
- The decision of the judges in all matters will be final and binding.
Registration Fee: Rs. 100
- Fashion show
- The theme for the event is “Hamari Sanskriti , Hamara Gaurav”
- One entry per college.
- It is a team event. A team can have max 25 members.
- Max 25 members are allowed in a team
- Time limit for every team would be 10 minutes (2 mins for setup and 8 mins. For the performance).
- Negative marking if participants exceed time limit.
- Green room will be provided for changing purpose
- Should carry their tracks in pen drive and should be submitted in advance.
- Vulgarity is strongly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to debarring the team from the contest.
- The participants will be judged on their body language/stage presence/ etiquette/poise and personality as well as their oratory skills. This part of your performance must be short and crisp, and should not exceed 10 mins.
- Teams will be judged on costumes, theme, walking stance, attitude and tag line.
- Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
- Grooming sessions & Choreography will be provided to the participants, 2 days prior to the performance by Event Sponsor – VNN Entertainment Agency. Details will be provided accordingly.
Registration Fee: Rs. 200
- Decoration competition.
- 3 teams of 3 students are allowed.
- Time limit is 2 hours.
- Negative marking on time exceeding.
- Reach before 30 min of event commencement.
- Any type of decoration material is allowed.
- One Red mud pot and two Dandiya sticks are allowed, which will be available to be purchased inside the campus on the day of the competition.
- Decorative Wall hanging are allowed.
- Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

- Poetry competition.
- Student must be registered themselves for competition.
- Max 3 entries are allowed from each college and faculty.
- Poetry should be original and not be copied from other poet and website.
- The poetry should be max 4 min.
- Participants will be judged on the basis of- creativity and theme.
- Negative marking if participants exceed time limit.
- Vulgarity is strongly prohibited.
- Any form of obscenity will lead to debarring the team from the contest.
- Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Registration Fee: Rs. 100
- Startup and Live Projects
- Each team should consist of a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 5 members. Any number of business plans from an institution may be allowed, provided that the teams have no common members.
- Students will participate as teams where each team will consist of a minimum of 3 (three) and a maximum of 5 (five) student participants. Each participating student can be a part of only one team. Each team will have a Leader who will apply on team’s behalf and represent the team in the competition. Once selected for the Final Presentation Round, none of the team members can be changed.
- Any substitutions may lead to the disqualification of the team.
- In case some team members are unable to participate for some reason, the team must still have a minimum of 3 (three) students to be eligible to participate in the Final Presentation Round
- You are required to submit the file in this prescribed format “College/Institute/University name Team Name”.
- The startup presentation should be in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Only Team Leader will be able to make the submission.
- Elevator pitch should broadly address the problem targeted, how it would be resolved, who all will benefit, and how you will reach the first customer; any prototype or Minimum Viable Product could also be displayed.
- Each application is evaluated on strength of business case, financial case, and the trajectory of the team.
- Judges select the teams that advance to the final round.
- Judges’ decisions will be final.

Rules:
1) The registration should be completed by the team leader.
2) The number of participants should be 4 or less, lone wolves are also allowed.
3) Initial round will be a written prelims round which will be followed by finals.
4) The qualification criteria will be disclosed prior to the written prelims round.
5) The quiz master’s decision will be final, so kindly avoid any argument regarding the same.
Prizes: Winning team will be awarded exclusive gift hampers.
