Rama University's Faculty of Commerce and Management Showcases their Water Wisdom with WWF Collaboration
29 Mar 2023
The Faculty of Commerce and Management at Rama University recently took a step towards a better tomorrow by observing the World Water Day Week. In collaboration with the world's largest conservation organization, WWF, the faculty organized a workshop on 27-28 March 2023, with the aim of spreading awareness about water conservation.
The workshop was a roaring success, with a burst of ideas and knowledge shared amongst the participants. The students of the Faculty of Commerce and Management went a step further by conducting an Extension activity in the village of Kukradev. It was like a refreshing rain in the parched land, as the students approached the residents, shopkeepers, and farmers, and enlightened them about the importance of water conservation.
The students apprised the villagers of their water footprints and the various methods of conserving water, like using drip irrigation and rainwater harvesting, which were like tiny drops of knowledge forming a river of change. The students' efforts were like the blooming of a flower that spreads its fragrance and beauty around, as the villagers showed keen interest in the workshop and pledged to work towards a better tomorrow.
The Extension activity was a shining example of how a small initiative can bring about significant change. The Faculty of Commerce and Management at Rama University continues to lead the way towards a brighter future, and this event was just one of many such steps.
