Rama Ayurvedic Medical College Hosts 78th Independence Day Pre-Celebration

On August 13, 2024, Rama Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital in Kanpur hosted a pre-celebration for India’s 78th Independence Day. The event, themed “Har Ghar Tiranga,” was in line with directives from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the Ministry of AYUSH. Coordinated by Dr. K. Deepak Raja, Dr. Udhaya Shankar T., and students from BAMS Batch 2021 and 2023, the event emphasized national pride and unity.
The celebration commenced with a solemn prayer and the lighting of the lamp by Prof. Dr. Guruprasad K., setting the tone for the day. Highlights included reflections from students on the significance of Independence Day, a heartfelt poetry presentation, and a special address connecting the relevance of Independence Day to Ayurvedic medicine. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a final rendition of the National Anthem, leaving attendees with a renewed sense of patriotism and appreciation for India’s heritage
