About Conference

The word "paradigm" is acquired from the Greek meaning framework. A paradigm is a related set of practices and concepts that define and provide the framework for a given knowledge domain and discipline in any field. A paradigm shift is an absolute change in the practices and core concepts of any given discipline, field, or domain. Paradigm shifts can arise at any of these dimensions and may cut across them (these dimensions ). At both the primary and higher education dimensions, the field of education has undergone enormous changes since World War II. These changes have been precipitated by unprecedented demand for high quality and meaningful education at all dimensions across the globe.

In Nursing, educators are motivated to revise the teacher-centered curriculum and adopt new ideas that may focus on student-centered learning. This pandemic situation had created a need for instant development and implementation of newer skills in grading nursing and other health care providers, which makes it more important to shift the paradigm towards virtual learning. It also enables participants to engage in learning through an online environment. The experiences of teachers on virtual learning vary on an individual basis. For some teachers, the pandemic situation has changed the way of teaching. Hence it has given a chance for a paradigm shift in nursing education.
