Promoting Green Initiatives under the Sustainable Development Goals Rama University organized a plantation drive with Students of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School on 15th October 2025.
In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and as part of the Kanpur Parivartan Forum’s MoU Activity, a Mega Plantation Drive was successfully organized at Rama University, Kanpur on 15th October 2025.
The event started with an interactive session with the students in which Dr. Inderjeet Gupta, Dean, Academics told about different faculties of Rama University and their scope. He also told about the importance of Nature. Further Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean, FASAI told the students about the Sustainable Development Goals. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 170 students of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, who actively took part in the plantation activities within the university campus. The plantation drive was generously sponsored by the Jaipuria School, reflecting their commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability.
During their visit, the students also explored the diverse plant species present within the Rama University campus, gaining valuable insights into the importance of green cover and biodiversity.
On behalf of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, the accompanying teachers were felicitated by the authorities of Rama University for supporting and collaborating in this noble initiative.
The officials and faculty members of Rama University extended a warm welcome to all the visiting students and teachers, appreciating their contribution towards environmental awareness and collective responsibility for a greener future.
