Department of Journalism & Mass Communication is now accepting applications for short term course on "Graphic Designing" for the Academic Session 2019-20. Here are a few things you must know about the course that will help you understand it’s relevance and admission-related details:
About the Course
Graphic Design is a course that explores graphic communication through the understanding of the elements and principles of design; as well as, the design process, from idea development through the final execution of a document. Professionals use the concepts explored in this course in the following disciplines: advertising, graphic design, web design, illustration, broadcast design, photography and game design, and many others. Assessment will be based upon a rubric that takes into consideration effort, technical understanding, and creative use of resources for the completion of various assignments using PhotoShop CS5 and InDesign CS5.

- Graphic designing is important in almost every field that includes- marketing, magazine layout, etc. A good graphic design should effectively communicate the message of the sender to the target audience using tools of visual communication.
- A good graphic designer has the capability to enhance the readability of the content of your and grab the reader's attention towards the message by choosing appropriate typefaces, colors, sizes, and images. Now let us discuss it in detail.
