AIKYAM 2026–27: Faculty of Engineering and Technology Welcomes Freshers with Vibrant Cultural Celebrations

On October 1, 2026, the campus auditorium came alive as the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Rama University hosted a memorable freshers’ welcome party for the incoming 2026–27 batch. Filled with enthusiasm and vibrant energy, the gathering offered a warm, joyful reception to the new students. The event was graced with the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Shukla (Dean, FET) and other dignitaries including Dr. Aneeta Yadav (Dean, IQAC & FASAI), Dr Guru Prasad. K (Principal, FAY), Dr. Jasmi Johnson (Principal, FNS), Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall (Dean, FJS) and Dr. Abhishek Gupta (Dean, FPhS).
The programme commenced with a welcome address, followed by the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of esteemed dignitaries. The event continued with a soulful Ganesh Vandana creating a graceful and positive beginning to the celebrations. The Dean, Prof. Dr. Abhay Shukla, addressed the students and shared words of encouragement and guidance, inspiring students to embrace their new journey with confidence, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence. The event featured vibrant cultural performances and an exciting Freshers' Ramp Walk, where students showcased their confidence, personality, style, and stage presence.
The much-awaited Crowning Ceremony was a significant highlight of AIKYAM Freshers 2026, wherein deserving students were recognized for their confidence, elegance, personality, and stage presence. Abhinav Srivastava, B.Tech. (AI-ML), and Kajul, B.Sc. (Biotechnology), were conferred the titles of Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher, respectively, for their exceptional charm, poise, and impressive stage presence. The titles of Mr. Perfect and Ms. Diva were awarded to Ansh Soni, B.Tech. (CS), and Anushka Singh, B.Tech. (Biotechnology), in recognition of their confidence, personality, and distinctive flair. The titles of Mr. Evening and Ms. Evening were bestowed upon Harshit Mishra and Kriti Komal, both from B.Tech. (Biotechnology), for their elegant presentation and remarkable overall presence during the celebrations. The winners were felicitated amidst enthusiastic applause, adding a memorable and celebratory conclusion to the event.
The 2026–27 Fresher's Celebration at Rama University beautifully captured the spirit of camaraderie and fresh beginnings. It was an unforgettable milestone that will remain a cherished memory for everyone who attended.
