- Introduction
The Faculty of Commerce and Management at Rama University successfully organized a two-day academic event titled “Arth Manthan: Churning the Union Budget 2026” on 27th and 28th February 2026 in hybrid mode.
The objective of the program was to critically analyze the Union Budget 2026, promote financial awareness among students, and provide a platform for academic and professional discussion on budgetary policies, taxation reforms, and their economic implications.

Student Presentations on Union Budget 2026
The first day was dedicated to student presentations. Students from the Faculty of Commerce and Management actively participated by presenting PowerPoint slides covering various aspects of the Union Budget 2026.
The presentations included:
- Key highlights of the budget
- Changes in direct and indirect taxation
- Sector-wise allocation (agriculture, MSMEs, infrastructure, education, healthcare, etc.)
- Impact on individuals and corporates
- Fiscal deficit and economic growth projections
- Faculty members, Prof. (Dr.) Indu Shukla and Dr. Sanya Srivastava also presented their views .
The session was interactive and encouraged critical thinking. Faculty members provided constructive feedback and appreciated the analytical efforts of the students.

Expert Session on Budget & Taxation
The second day featured expert lectures by distinguished professionals who joined in online mode.
