Aurora 2025 Fresher’s Celebration Radiates Retro Charm at Rama University Auditorium

The Faculty of Commerce and Management successfully organized the vibrant fresher’s party “Aurora 2025” on 17 November 2025 (Monday) at the University Auditorium, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event was themed around 90s Retro Bollywood, creating an atmosphere filled with nostalgia, colour, and youthful excitement.
The programme commenced with the auspicious Deep Prajwalan ceremony, symbolizing wisdom and new beginnings, followed by a soulful Ganesh Vandana presented by senior student. The event progressed with grace and enthusiasm as the audience warmly welcomed the freshers.
The Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Prof. (Dr.) Vaishali Dhingra delivered an insightful and motivating speech, encouraging students to focus on discipline, dedication, and holistic development. Dignitaries and Deans from other departments were also present, adding prestige to the occasion and showing strong inter-faculty support.
Various cultural performances, interactive activities, dance segments, and fun competitions were conducted throughout the day, showcasing the talents of both seniors and freshers.
Towards the conclusion of the event, a question-based evaluation round was held to select the most deserving candidates for the titles. Based on confidence, creativity, and responses, the final Mr. and Ms. Fresher titles along with other recognitions were awarded.
The event concluded on a cheerful note, with freshers feeling welcomed and inspired. The strong support and active involvement of the faculty played a significant role in making Aurora 2025 a memorable and successful celebration.
