Celebrating the success of TECHMANTHAN-2k19- A report

Rama University’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology successfully organized the highly anticipated Techno and Cultural fest “TECHMANTHAN-2k19” from 17th April 2019 to 20th April 2019. The four-day event hosted numerous events dotted throughout the day.
The 4-day long techno-cultural fest of RAMA University started with full zeal and zest on 17th April 2019 and was a cocktail of Technical & cultural diversity, social awareness, and unending entertainment, and it offered a rich blend of programs like workshops, exhibitions/startup, multiplayer games, and cultural programs- dance, music, arts, fashion show, etc.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest:-Mr. Jainendra Singh, Memory Architect, NXP Semiconductor Bangalore, IIT Mumbai alumnus. It was followed by a welcome address by Dr. Hari Om Sharan (Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology) where he emphasized on the fact that these events give a chance and exposures to all the students to showcase their technical and cultural talents. He also talked about the MANTHAN Innovation Challenge (MIC) wherein the students can showcase their inventions, innovations, and startup ideas and can win exciting prizes. Not only this, but the selected candidate will also receive seed funding for their project. Apart from this, he also talked about the importance of how much all the students can learn and achieve by participating in such events. Dr. Hari Om Sharan concluded his speech with good wishes for all students and also appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee by saying that this event is conducted at par with other Technical Institutes
Furthermore, we also owe a lot to our Campus Ambassador System that plays an indispensable role in connecting Techno-cultural fest with all the students across the campus as well as playing an important role in deciding about artist line ups and different events of the festival to provide students a better exposure about the industry.
Additionally, the Technical programs during the fest kickstarted with a lecture by Dr. Ruchir Gupta (Professor IIT BHU) on the topic Computer Science Intelligence Processing in Computer Science (Peer-to-Peer Network) with the help of ICT classes. The chief guest for this event was Dr. Vishal Awasthi (Professor: Department of Electronics & Telecommunication at CSJM Kanpur University) and the event was conducted in the presence of all the deans to encourage the students
The main attractions of the fest were Live Project /Startup /Poster Presentation, Technical Games, Multiplayer Games, Skit, Singing Competition, Dancing Competition, & Fashion Show in which other colleges like C.S.J.M., VISION. & P.S.I.T etc. also participated. The students performed remarkably in the event and were fairly awarded for their efforts during the prize distribution ceremony on 20th April.
The conveners of the Techno Cultural Fest ‘Manthan-2K19’ were Mr. Samir Mishra and Mrs. Rati Bajpai along with the committee members & the student representatives who have contributed tremendously towards the success of the event. The event saw participation from all the colleges and also witnessed the presence of all the faculty members, staff, and other students and colleges. The event was indeed a massive success.
