In alignment with the Uttar Pradesh Government’s unwavering commitment to promoting women’s safety, dignity, and self-reliance, the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Rama University, Kanpur, organized a Reel Making Competition under the umbrella of Mission Shakti. The event, held on October 15, 2025, aimed to harness the power of digital media as a tool for spreading social awareness and driving behavioral transformation among the youth.
Event Overview
The competition commenced at 10:00 AM and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 50 (22 Girls+ 28 Boys) students representing various faculties across the University. Participants were tasked with creating short, impactful video reels that encapsulated narratives of Women Empowerment. The event highlighted interdisciplinary collaboration and creative expression, showcasing the participants’ ability to communicate complex social issues through visual storytelling.
The submissions reflected originality, depth, and an empathetic understanding of women’s issues in contemporary society.
Judging Panel
A distinguished panel of judges, representing both academic and creative expertise, evaluated the entries based on originality, clarity of message, creativity, technical execution, and the potential for social impact.
