Day-wise Summary of the FDP Sessions
Day 1: 2nd July 2025
The FDP commenced with an inaugural session followed by an insightful session by Prof. Sunil Gupta, Former Director of IGNOU and Dean South Asian University (SAU), New Delhi, an expert in educational policy. He delivered a session on "Tax Reforms with Respect to Salaried Class", focusing on the latest updates in taxation and their impact on salaried professionals, particularly educators.
Day 2: 3rd July 2025
Renowned leadership expert Dr. Surojit Saha, CEO of SchoolForAll and alumnus of IIM Kolkata, led two power-packed sessions. In the morning, he covered "Leadership Foundations", emphasizing the traits of transformational leaders in academia. The afternoon session was a workshop involving real-world case studies and collaborative exercises to sharpen leadership skills.
Dr. Saha also delivered an engaging session to the MBBS students of Rama Medical College and inspired them for entrepreneurship. He was felicitated by the Medical Superintendent, Lt. Col. Dr. Siddharth Mani and Principal Faculty of Para Medical Sciences, Dr. Brijendra Nigam.
Day 3: 4th July 2025
The third day continued with sessions by Dr. Surojit Saha, who focused on "Strategic Thinking and Decision Making" in the morning. The interactive session highlighted the importance of aligning strategy with academic vision. The post-lunch session encouraged participants to apply strategic tools in simulated academic scenarios.
Day 4: 5th July 2025
Prof. (Dr.) Indrajeet Gupta, Dean of Engineering and Dean Academics, Rama University, delivered a session on "Digital Pedagogy for Next-Gen Classrooms". He introduced practical tools, for hybrid and tech-enabled classrooms aligned with NEP 2020 mandates.
Day 5: 7th July 2025
The final day started with Prof. (Dr.) Manish Dhingra, Professor, FCM, who discussed "NEP 2020 – Focus on Creativity, Innovation, and New Product Development". His talk inspired faculty to think beyond traditional boundaries in curriculum design.
Day 5: 7th July 2025: Prof. (Dr.) Vaishali Dhingra, delivered the valedictory note and presented the gist of NEP 2020 and how the academicians can implement it in the best interest of the students. Towards the end certificates were distributed to the participants.
