Empowering Tomorrow's Healthcare Providers: A Successful Neonatal Resuscitation and Newborn Safety Workshop at Faculty of Nursing

The Rama University Faculty of Nursing successfully hosted a "One Day Workshop on Neonatal Resuscitation and Newborn Safety" as a proactive effort to improve healthcare preparedness. 120 students from various nursing programs actively participated in the event, which was place on November 20, 2023, in the Multipurpose Hall. The workshop, a part of the National New Born Week Celebration -2023, aimed to equip future healthcare providers with essential skills for handling newborn emergencies. The sessions included theoretical discussions, hands-on training, and a demonstration of neonatal resuscitation techniques. Dr. Manoj Kumar Yadav, HOD Pediatric Nursing from Govt. College of Nursing, Agra, UP, served as the distinguished guest speaker, sharing valuable insights and expertise. The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony, during which certificates were distributed to all participants. Mrs. Priyanka Agarwal expressed gratitude in the vote of thanks, highlighting the importance of such workshops in fostering practical skills among nursing students.
