Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET), Rama University organised a vibrant three-day Engineer’s Day Celebration 2026 from 15 to 17 September 2026, bringing together technical innovation, creativity, teamwork, and student talent. The celebration provided students with a platform to move beyond the classroom and demonstrate their ideas, skills, and enthusiasm through a diverse range of competitions and student club activities.

The celebration was designed to reflect the true spirit of engineering—thinking creatively, solving problems, building ideas, working together, and learning through experience.

INAUGURATION CEREMONY – 15 SEPTEMBER 2026

The Engineer’s Day celebrations commenced on 15 September 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Rama University. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Abhay Shukla, Dean, FET, in the presence of faculty members and students.

Prof. Abhay Shukla addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of engineering, innovation, creativity, and technology in addressing real-world challenges. He encouraged students to develop an innovative mindset, strengthen their problem-solving abilities, and actively participate in activities beyond the regular academic curriculum.

The inauguration ceremony was made auspicious with a soulful Ganesh Vandana performed by Ms. Trisha Pandey, creating a positive and energetic beginning to the celebrations.

CREATIVITY & INNOVATION COMPETITIONS

As an important part of the Engineer’s Day celebrations, students participated enthusiastically in Model Making, Poster Making, and Rangoli Making Competitions. These activities provided an opportunity for students to express their creativity, technical understanding, imagination, and artistic skills.

Model Making Competition

The Model Making Competition encouraged students to transform their ideas into working or conceptual models and demonstrate their creativity, teamwork, and technical understanding.

Poster Making Competition

The Poster Making Competition provided students with a creative platform to communicate ideas through visual representation, design, and meaningful concepts.

Rangoli Making Competition

The Rangoli Making Competition added a colourful and artistic dimension to the celebrations. Students showcased their creativity, imagination, design skills, and teamwork through attractive rangoli patterns.

STUDENT CLUB ACTIVITIES

A major highlight of the Engineer’s Day Celebration was the series of Student Club Activities organised across 15–17 September 2026. Various clubs conducted technical, creative, entrepreneurial, coding, cybersecurity, IoT, cloud computing, gaming, and interactive activities, giving students opportunities to learn and demonstrate their skills in an engaging environment.

Day 1 : 15 September 2026

The Traitor – BioGenius Club       
The activity was conducted from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the FET Open Auditorium. It encouraged observation, logical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills among participants.

Vibe Code 30 – GDG Club 
Held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at FET Room No. 3026, the activity provided practical exposure to coding, creativity, problem-solving, and collaborative development.

Day 2 : 16 September 2026

Mind’s Game – CyberSecurity Club         
The activity was organised at the FET Seminar Hall from 10:00 AM to 11:50 AM, focusing on logical thinking, analytical ability, attention to detail, and decision-making.

GitHub Profile Creation – GitHub Student Community
Conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the activity introduced students to professional GitHub profile development, repository organisation, and presentation of their technical work.

Engineers Arena – Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)       
The event was held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the FET Seminar Hall. It promoted quick decision-making, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving through engaging engineering activities.

IoT Learn & Quiz Battle – Smart Mech Circle Club      
Conducted at Robotics Lab 3064, the activity helped students enhance their IoT awareness, technical knowledge, logical reasoning, quiz-solving ability, and teamwork.

Brand ShowDown – Rama Startup Innovators Club      
The activity focused on branding, marketing, presentation, creativity, teamwork, and strategic thinking, giving students exposure to entrepreneurial and business-oriented skills.

Day 3 : 17 September 2026

Rama’s Patient: The Ultimate Comedy Show – Digital Media Mind Club       
The activity provided students with a creative platform to develop confidence, communication, teamwork, creativity, and audience engagement.

TECHFIRE: Battle of Engineers – Gamer Nexus Club  
The event encouraged technical problem-solving, teamwork, quick thinking, and practical engineering skills through an engaging challenge.

Cloud Carnival – Cloud Computing Club
The activity introduced students to cloud computing concepts while strengthening their technical awareness, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

AI Slider – Tech Fusion (Data Science)     
The activity provided introductory exposure to AI-related concepts, analytical thinking, creativity, technical awareness, and collaborative learning.

A CELEBRATION OF LEARNING, CREATIVITY & INNOVATION

The three-day celebration successfully brought together technology, creativity, competition, collaboration, and student expression. The Model, Poster, and Rangoli Competitions allowed students to showcase their creative and artistic abilities, while the diverse student club activities provided practical exposure to emerging technologies, coding, cybersecurity, IoT, cloud computing, entrepreneurship, and other skill-based areas.

The enthusiastic participation of students reflected the vibrant culture of learning beyond the classroom at FET. The activities also demonstrated how student clubs can serve as platforms for students to explore their interests, develop practical skills, build confidence, work in teams, and transform ideas into action.
