Expert Lecture Explores Crafting of Indian Criminal Justice System through New Laws

In a dynamic exchange of ideas and insights, Rama University's Faculty of Juridical Sciences recently hosted a guest lecture titled "Crafting the Indian Criminal Justice System through New Criminal Laws: Issues and Challenges." The event, held on April 23, 2024, at the VC Building Seminar Hall, witnessed the participation of approximately 100 eager students.
Dr. Prem Kumar Gautam, Associate Professor of Law at RML National Law University, Lucknow UP, served as the distinguished speaker for the occasion. Delving into the complexities of legal reforms, Dr. Gautam shed light on the intricacies of shaping a robust legal framework to address contemporary challenges.
The session commenced with ceremonial lamp lighting by Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean of the School of Welfare, and Deputy Registrar Ashutosh Singh, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge. Dr. Gautam's engaging lecture provided attendees with valuable insights into the evolution of criminal laws in India and the pertinent issues they aim to address.
