Objective of the Event
- To provide students with valuable insights and practical knowledge from experienced faculty members and experts across diverse professional domains.
- To enhance students' understanding of research, marketing, finance, human resource management, placements, and personality development.
- To bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry-oriented knowledge.
- To guide students in identifying career opportunities and developing the skills required for professional growth.

The Faculty of Commerce & Management (FCM), Rama University, Mandhana, Kanpur, organised a Townhall Meeting with the Existing Students on July 30–31, 2026, featuring a series of insightful and interactive Expert Sessions. The initiative was organised to provide students with comprehensive guidance and practical insights across various domains relevant to their academic, professional, and personal development.
The sessions commenced with Research Mentorship, conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Indu Shukla and Dr. Shivangi Awasthi, who provided students with valuable guidance on research orientation, academic development, and the importance of developing a systematic and analytical approach towards research.
The Marketing Session, led by Prof. Dr. Shanmugam R. and Ms. Shivani Anand, focused on enhancing students' understanding of marketing concepts and their practical relevance. The session provided valuable insights into the evolving marketing landscape and the skills required to succeed in the field.
The Finance Session, conducted by Ms. Sanya Srivastava and Ms. Gracy, focused on the significance of financial knowledge and its relevance to students' academic and professional growth. The session aimed to enhance students' understanding of finance as a career domain and familiarise them with the practical aspects and opportunities available in the field.
The HR Management Session, conducted by Dr. Munindra Prakash Shakya, provided students with insights into human resource management and the importance of effective people management skills in the professional environment.
The Placement Guidance Session, led by Mr. Gurmeet Singh, focused on preparing students for future career opportunities and placements. Students were guided on the importance of employability skills, career preparedness, and understanding the expectations of prospective employers.
The Personality Development Session, conducted by Ms. Priyanka Chetri, emphasised the importance of effective communication, confidence, personality enhancement, and interpersonal skills for students' overall personal and professional development.
The Expert Sessions provided students with an opportunity to interact with experienced faculty members and experts, clarify their queries, and gain valuable perspectives across multiple areas. The sessions successfully encouraged active student participation and created an engaging platform for knowledge sharing, mentorship, and career-oriented guidance.
The event concluded with an emphasis on the importance of continuous learning, skill development, professional preparedness, and active engagement in academic and co-curricular activities.
