Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Allied Industries Organized an Alumni Interaction Session to Guide Students on Higher Education Opportunities
The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences & Allied Industries (FASAI), Rama University, Kanpur, organized an Alumni Talk on 30 July, 2026 with the objective of motivating students to pursue higher education and prepare strategically for academic and professional success. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students along with faculty members.
The keynote speaker, Mr. Anuraag Patel & Mohd. Ayaan, two distinguished alumnus of FASAI, shared their academic journey and valuable experiences regarding higher education. During the session, they highlighted the importance of setting clear career goals, selecting appropriate postgraduate programmes, and exploring opportunities in reputed national and international institutions.
Mr. Patel provided practical guidance on preparing for competitive examinations and emphasized the significance of conceptual clarity, consistent study habits, effective time management, and regular self-assessment. He also encouraged students to strengthen their communication skills, participate in internships, develop research aptitude, and remain updated with recent advancements in agriculture and allied sciences.
An interactive question-and-answer session followed, during which students sought advice on admission procedures, scholarship opportunities, career prospects after postgraduate studies, and strategies for balancing academic preparation with skill development.
