Kargil Vijay Diwas 2026 – "Remembering the Heroes of Operation Vijay"
The Faculty of Commerce & Management (FCM), Rama University, commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas 2026 under the theme "Remembering the Heroes of Operation Vijay" under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Indu Shukla, Dean, FCM. The programme was successfully coordinated by Ms. Sanya Srivastava and Ms. Priyanka Chetri, Programme Coordinators.
The celebration commenced with a Candle Peace March, where faculty members and students paid tribute to the brave soldiers of the nation with pride and solemnity. Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Indu Shukla emphasized the values of patriotism, courage, discipline, and national responsibility inspired by the sacrifices of the Kargil heroes.
The programme featured a patriotic skit, poetry recitations, patriotic speeches, and the screening of a documentary and short film on the Kargil War and Operation Vijay. These activities provided students with valuable insights into the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces and fostered a deep sense of national pride and gratitude.
The event concluded with a heartfelt tribute to the Kargil heroes and a renewed commitment to honouring their valour and supreme sacrifice.
