Faculty of Engineering and Technology Advances Drug-Free India Through Digital Awareness and E-Pledge Campaign

On 31st July 2026, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Rama University, Kanpur, executed a university-wide digital campaign and awareness drive aligned with the Ministry's national directive under the "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Abhiyan." Under the central instruction of the Office of the Registrar, Department of Computer Science & Department of Biotechnology along with all respective departments, organized structured awareness sessions within all their respective classrooms and lecture halls.
The campaign effectively integrated technology with civic education. Faculty mentors utilized classroom interactive panels and smart boards to project the official campaign posters, while delivering focused briefings on the importance of building a drug-free generation. Following the briefings, students were guided through a step-by-step registration on the government's My Bharat Portal, where they formally recorded their commitment to a substance-free life by taking the official online e-pledge.
