Cyber Suraksha 2026: Promoting AI & Cyber Awareness by FJS & FPS
An awareness drive on the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Awareness” was successfully conducted by the Faculty of Juridical Sciences, in collaboration with the Faculty of Professional Studies, on 2nd April 2026 at LT-203 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event was organized under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall (Dean, FJS) and Dr. Mannu Kaushik (Dean, Faculty of Professional Studies), whose constant support ensured the successful execution of the programme.
The session aimed to educate students about the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the importance of cyber safety in the digital era. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members.
The programme focused on building awareness regarding the fundamentals of AI, its applications across various sectors, and its legal and ethical implications. Special emphasis was laid on cyber security, covering crucial aspects such as online privacy, data protection, cybercrimes, and safe internet practices. Students were also made aware of common cyber threats including phishing, hacking, and identity theft, along with preventive measures to safeguard personal and professional data.
Ms. Riddhi Tripathi (Head of Department) highlighted the increasing relevance of cyber awareness in today’s technology-driven world and encouraged students to become responsible and vigilant digital citizens.
The event was effectively coordinated by Dr. Sadhna Trivedi (Associate Professor), along with the dedicated efforts of other faculty members of the Law Department. The programme was further strengthened by the valuable cooperation of the Faculty of Professional Studies, which played a significant role in its smooth organization.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where students actively engaged by raising queries related to cyber laws, digital security, and the evolving role of AI in the legal field.
Overall, the awareness drive proved to be highly informative and impactful, enhancing students’ understanding of AI and equipping them with essential knowledge to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
