Faculty of Juridical Sciences Celebrates Hindi Diwas 2026

The Faculty of Juridical Sciences (FJS), Rama University, Kanpur celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14 September 2026 at the Seminar Hall, VC Building, from 01:00 PM to 02:30 PM. The programme was organised to highlight the significance of Hindi as a language of communication, education, culture, and national identity with objectives of the Programme
- To promote awareness about the importance and relevance of Hindi.
- To encourage the use of Hindi in academic and professional communication.
- To highlight the cultural and linguistic significance of Hindi.
- To encourage students to develop confidence in expressing their ideas in Hindi.
The programme commenced with a formal welcome address by Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, Dean-FJS, who welcomed the distinguished guests, faculty members, and students. The Chief Guest, Shri Anurag Pandey, Vice President, Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of Hindi in public life and professional communication. Shri Rishabh Awasthi, Former General Secretary, Kanpur Bar Association shared his views on the relevance of Hindi in the legal profession and encouraged students to strengthen their communication skills. Shri Prabhat Ranjan, Registrar, Rama University, also graced the occasion with his presence. The programme included academic and cultural interactions aimed at encouraging students to appreciate and use Hindi in educational and professional settings.
The celebration provided students with an opportunity to understand the importance of Hindi in academic, social, and professional life. It also encouraged greater participation in Hindi-based academic and cultural activities and reinforced the value of linguistic diversity and communication skills.
The Hindi Diwas Celebration 2026 successfully provided an academic platform to promote awareness and appreciation of Hindi. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks to the distinguished guests, university administration, faculty members, coordinators, and students for their valuable participation and support.
