Faculty of Juridical Sciences Celebrates Teaching, Mentorship on the Occasion of Teachers Day

The Faculty of Juridical Sciences (FJS), Rama University, Kanpur celebrated “Teaching, Mentorship & Academic Excellence” on 5th September 2026 on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, Dean, Faculty of Juridical Sciences, with Dr. Kaneez Fatima, Faculty Coordinator, coordinating the programme.
The celebration was organised to recognise and appreciate the dedication, commitment, and contribution of teachers towards shaping the academic, professional, and personal development of students. The occasion highlighted the significant role of educators as mentors, guides, facilitators, and role models in nurturing students and preparing them for their future professional responsibilities.
On the occasion, Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, Dean, Faculty of Juridical Sciences, addressed the faculty members and students and emphasised the importance of teaching, mentorship, academic excellence, professional ethics, and continuous learning. He appreciated the sincere efforts and commitment of the faculty members in providing quality legal education and encouraged everyone to continue working towards creating a positive, inclusive, and academically enriching learning environment for students.
The celebration also provided an opportunity for students to express their gratitude and appreciation towards their teachers for their guidance, support, and continuous encouragement throughout their academic journey. The programme reflected the strong bond between teachers and students and acknowledged the invaluable contribution of educators in shaping responsible, knowledgeable, and professionally competent future legal professionals.
