On the occasion of Oral Health Day, 20 March 2026, a Mega Dental Check-Up Camp was successfully organized on 16 March 2026 in the Seminar Hall of the VC Building by the Faculty of Juridical Sciences in collaboration with the Faculty of Dental Sciences. The initiative aimed at promoting awareness regarding oral hygiene and preventive dental care among students.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall. It was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Riddhi Tripathi (HoD) and Ms. Vaishnavi Shukla, Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator.
From the Faculty of Dental Sciences, the camp was supported by experienced dental professionals, including Dr. Nidhi Shukla and Dr. Pragyna Priyadarshini, who played a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of the check-up camp.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 250 students, who benefited from free dental check-up services. Comprehensive oral examinations were conducted, and students were provided with expert guidance on maintaining proper dental hygiene.
Participants were educated about common dental issues such as cavities, gum diseases, and oral infections. They also received personalized advice on correct brushing techniques, dietary habits, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. The initiative significantly contributed to the early detection of dental concerns and encouraged preventive care among students.
The event proved to be highly impactful, fostering awareness and reinforcing the importance of oral health within the student community. It stands as a successful example of interdisciplinary collaboration aimed at promoting overall well-being on campus.
