Farewell ceremonies are special occasions that mark both an ending and a new beginning. They provide an opportunity to honour the journey of graduating students, celebrate their achievements, and wish them well as they step into the next phase of their lives. In this spirit, the GNM 2nd-year and ANM 1st-year students of Rama College of Nursing, Rama University, organized a grand farewell titled “VIDAYA – 2025” on 24th September 2025 for the outgoing GNM 3rd year (2022–23) and ANM 2nd year (2023–24) students.
The program, held at the Rama Auditorium, began with the lamp-lighting ceremony before Goddess Saraswati, followed by a soulful Ganesh Vandana presented by the GNM 2nd-year students, setting a spiritual tone for the event. The celebration was graced by eminent dignitaries including Mr. R.K. Yadav (Controller of Examinations), Dr. Indrajeet Gupta (Dean Academic Affairs), Prof. Dr. Jasmi Johnson (Principal & Dean), Dr. Anita Yadav (Dean of Agriculture Sciences and Allied Industries), Dr. Mano Kaushik (Dean Journalism & Mass Communication), Prof. Dr. Minu S.R. (Vice Principal), and Heads of various Nursing Departments. The program was elegantly anchored by Ms. Astha Shukla, Ms. Anjali Rajput, and Ms. Poonam, adding charm and liveliness to the evening.
The event highlights included cultural performances, faculty speeches, a ramp walk, and a talent hunt, all of which filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm and cheer. Outgoing students were honoured with mementos as tokens of love and remembrance. Special titles were conferred, with Ms. Shivani (GNM) and Ms. Reetika (ANM) winning the title of Miss Farewell. In her inspiring valedictory speech, Prof. Dr. Jasmi Johnson motivated the graduates to embrace their professional responsibilities with confidence and dedication. The program ended with a photo session, refreshments, and the National Anthem, leaving behind cherished memories of joy, respect, and camaraderie. Truly, “VIDAYA – 2025” became a day of celebration and gratitude that will be remembered by all.
