FASAI Celebrates Teachers’ Day with Felicitation Ceremony Honouring Faculty Excellence and Contributions

Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries Honoured Dedication, Excellence and Valuable Contributions of Faculty Members
The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries, Rama University, Kanpur celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5 September, 2026 with a special felicitation ceremony to acknowledge and appreciate the dedication, excellence, and valuable contributions of its faculty members towards academic, professional, cultural, and institutional development.
As a part of the celebration, Certificates of Appreciation were presented to faculty members by Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean, FASAI in recognition of their significant contributions to various sectors apart from teaching duties like academic programmes, institutional activities, quality initiatives, cultural events, and professional engagements. The felicitation served as a gesture of gratitude for their commitment, teamwork, and continuous efforts towards strengthening the academic and overall development of the Faculty and the University.
Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Assistant Professor, was felicitated for his valuable contribution to the successful delivery of the 30-Hour Short-Term Course on “Post Harvest Management of Fruits and Vegetable Through Value Addition.” His expertise, dedication, effective course planning, and contribution towards enriching the participants’ knowledge and practical understanding were acknowledged.
Dr. Syed Mohd Quatadah, Assistant Professor, received the Certificate of Appreciation for his valuable contribution to the successful delivery of the 30-Hour Short-Term Course on “Quality Seed Production and Maintenance in Cereals and Pulses.” His dedication, course planning, expertise, and efforts in enhancing the knowledge and practical understanding of the participants were appreciated.
Dr. Ravi Kesh Pal, Assistant Professor, was recognized for his valuable contribution to the successful conduct and coordination of the Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Future of Scientific Research: Ethics, Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability,” held from 24–29 August 2026 in Hybrid Mode. His efficient coordination, organizational skills, dedication, and efforts in ensuring the smooth execution of the programme were highly appreciated.
Dr. Anuj Tiwari, Assistant Professor, received the Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his contribution as Cultural Coordinator at the Department and University levels. His creativity, dedication, coordination, and organizational skills in planning and facilitating various cultural activities and events were acknowledged, along with his efforts towards promoting student engagement and a vibrant academic environment.
Dr. Ashish Srivastava, Assistant Professor, was recognized for his contribution to the successful delivery of the 30-Hour Short-Term Course on “Agribusiness Management.” He was also appreciated for his role in the successful conduct, organization, and coordination of the Alumni Meet, particularly for his dedication, organizational skills, and efforts in strengthening engagement among alumni, faculty members, and the institution.
Dr. Kartikay Bisen, Assistant Professor, was felicitated for his excellent contribution as the NAAC Criteria 6 Coordinator at the University level. His exemplary commitment, leadership, coordination, and dedicated efforts towards strengthening the University’s quality assurance and accreditation initiatives.
Dr. Raghavendra Singh, Assistant Professor, was felicitated foe his excellence in developing the MoUs with various renowned institutions. His excellence in this sector was really commendable.
Dr. Vinay J. Silas, Assistant Professor, was felicitated for his excellence in dealing the overall departmental activities. The Teachers’ Day felicitation ceremony reflected the Faculty’s commitment to recognizing and celebrating the people whose continuous efforts contribute to the growth and excellence of the institution. The presentation of Certificates of Appreciation not only acknowledged individual achievements but also encouraged a culture of dedication, collaboration, innovation, leadership, and excellence among faculty members.
The programme concluded with appreciation and gratitude towards all the faculty members for their continued commitment to teaching, academic development, institutional responsibilities, student engagement, and the overall advancement of FASAI, Rama University. The ceremony served as a meaningful tribute to the invaluable role of teachers in shaping students, strengthening institutions, and contributing to the larger field of education and agriculture.
