The third and final day of the 2nd International Conference on “Global Nurses: United Voices”, held on 13th December 2025 at the Rama University Auditorium, began with renewed vitality, scholarly anticipation, and a collective sense of fulfillment. Delegates, scholars, faculty members, and students assembled with enthusiasm, eager to engage in the concluding series of enriching sessions that reflected global nursing leadership, innovation, and compassionate practice.
The day began with the Assembly of Participants from 9:00 am to 9:30 am, during which attendees settled into the auditorium, exchanged conversations, and reflected on the academic insights gained during the previous two days. The environment was vibrant and filled with scholarly energy as participants prepared for the final day’s presentations.
At 9:30 am, the Lamp Lighting Ceremony marked the formal opening of the Day 3 proceedings. This graceful ritual symbolized the illumination of knowledge, purity, and professional unity, setting a harmonious tone for the day’s academic engagements. The soft glow of the lamp represented continuity, wisdom, and the shared commitment of the global nursing community.
A warm Welcome Speech was delivered by Mr. Mohsin, Faculty of Nursing Sciences, Rama University. He extended heartfelt greetings to all attendees, acknowledged their dedication in being part of the conference, and highlighted the significance of the final day in consolidating the learning experience. His words created a reflective and inspiring atmosphere to begin the plenary sessions.
The academic proceedings of Day 3 were chaired by Prof. Dr. Suveesh U. S., Professor cum Vice Principal, Regency Institute of Nursing, Kanpur, whose distinguished leadership and academic expertise added immense value to the day. With poise and professionalism, he introduced each speaker, provided insightful context for their topics, and ensured a smooth and intellectually enriching flow of the sessions. His role as chair enhanced the coherence and academic depth of the day's proceedings.
The first academic session, Plenary Session I, was conducted from 10:00 am to 11:00 am by Dr. Vinil Upendrababu, Principal, Vidhyadeep Institute of Nursing, Vidhyadeep University, Gujarat. Speaking on “Hospital Green Nursing Practices,” he emphasized the critical role nurses play in promoting environmental sustainability within healthcare systems. His presentation explored eco-friendly clinical practices, waste reduction strategies, and hospital-level green initiatives, inspiring participants to integrate sustainability principles into daily nursing care.
Following this, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Plenary Session II featured Dr. Shwetha Rani C. M., Vice Principal, College of Nursing, Government Medical College, Prayagraj. Her session, “Celebrating Nursing Narratives – Stories from Frontlines,” brought forward powerful and moving accounts of real-life nursing experiences. Through stories of resilience, courage, and empathy, she highlighted the emotional strength and humanistic values that define the nursing profession. The session resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring renewed appreciation for frontline nurses.
The third morning session, Plenary Session III, held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, was delivered by Dr. N. Neetu Devi, Nursing Consultant, UP State Medical Faculty. Her topic, “Socialization Along with Patient-Centered Care in Nursing Development,” shed light on the interplay between communication, empathy, cultural awareness, and patient-focused care. She emphasized how socialization enhances professional identity formation and improves nurse–patient relationships, encouraging attendees to integrate holistic approaches into their clinical practice.
A refreshing Lunch Break from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm allowed participants to relax, connect informally, and engage in meaningful academic discussions. This networking opportunity strengthened professional relationships and supported the exchange of innovative ideas.
The afternoon session resumed with Plenary Session IV from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, delivered by Dr. Sudha A. Raddi, Assistant Professor, College of Applied Medical Sciences, University of Bisha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Her session on “Global Standards in Nursing Curriculum” provided a comprehensive understanding of international educational frameworks, accreditation criteria, competency-based curriculum models, and the need for global alignment in nursing education. Her insights encouraged educators to adopt globally relevant teaching strategies that prepare nurses for international roles.
The conference then transitioned into the Valedictory Session from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm, marking the ceremonial conclusion of the three-day academic gathering.
Day 3 concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, delivered by Prof. S. Sumiya, Faculty of Nursing Sciences, Rama University, from 3:45 pm to 4:00 pm. She expressed sincere appreciation to all resource persons, the conference chair, delegates, organizers, and volunteers for their invaluable contributions, dedication, and support throughout the event. Her words beautifully encapsulated the collaborative spirit and academic excellence that defined the entire conference.
Simultaneously, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, the Scientific Paper Presentation (Parallel Event) took place in the Multipurpose Hall, Faculty of Nursing. Scholars and students presented diverse research studies, showcasing innovations, evidence-based practices, and emerging trends in nursing science. This platform encouraged academic discourse, constructive evaluation, and recognition of emerging nursing research.
In conclusion, Day 3 served as a fitting culmination of the conference, bringing together profound academic insights, inspiring narratives, global perspectives, and meaningful reflections.
