First day of the ICCN concluded successfully

Faculty of Nursing Rama University has organized 1st International Conference on Challenges and Innovation in nursing from 5-7th November 2019
The special guests for the conference were Dr. Inclement Principal, Columbia College of Nursing Bengaluru. He has authored 70 textbooks of Nursing and Paramedical Courses. He has 60 Scientific Research articles to his credit. He has received the Florence Nightingale Award for Best Principal.
Another guest for the day was Dr. Sharda Ramesh, Director cum Professor, International University Pune. She has been a research expert who has guided more than 400 Research Projects to date. She has 35 independent research projects to her credit. She has been awarded for Best Administrator by TNAI in 2019
The first plenary session started as per schedule. The first keynote speaker Mr. Raghvendra, Associate Professor discussed Patient Safety Practices in detail.
The second session was taken by Mr. Madan Mohan Gupta, Assistant professor who highlighted professional development and practical changes in nursing advancements.
A thought-provoking session was taken by Dr. I Clement. He highlighted the challenges and issues that Indian nurses face in nursing practices. He pointed out the major issues in nursing practice and discussed possible solutions for them. He also urged young nurses to be assertive. He motivated everyone with his session.
The session by Dr. Shardha Ramesh has thrown light upon the current public health challenges in India. The session was very interactive. She elaborated on the topic and touched every area possible through her remarkable lecture.
