FJS (Law) is all set to organize Essay Writing Competition

Faculty of Juridical Sciences (Law) is going to organise an online essay writing competition on the theme ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat – Swatantra Bharat‘, which envisions the emergence of a robust and strong nation committed to the welfare of all.
It is a clarion call by the Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi for a strong, vibrant and self-reliant India for all and an India of all. The themes designed in the essay will help students to explore their ideas for translating the concept of Aatmanirbhar, self-reliance into an achievable one.

What is the Theme of the competition?
The themes of the competition are:
- Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Indian Constitution and Democracy are the biggest enablers
- India at 75: A Nation Marching towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat
- Aatmanirbhar Bharat through Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat: Innovation thrives when there is Unity in Diversity
- Digital India for Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Opportunities on COVID-19 and Beyond
- Aatmanirbhar Bharat – How can school children contribute to National Development?
- Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Overcoming Gender, Caste, and Ethnic biases
- Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Making of a New India through Bio-diversity and Agricultural Prosperity
- While I exercise my rights, I must not forget to undertake my duties to usher in an Aatmanirbhar Bharat

Who can Participate?
The essay competition is meant for all the students.
What is the Registration Fees?
There is no registration fee. The competition is FREE for all.
What are the Important Deadlines?
- Last Date of Registration: September 27, 2020
- Last Date of Submission: September 27, 2020
- Tentative date of declaration of result: October 4, 2020
What are the Perks?
- The top 5 entries will be published on our website.
- e-Certificate of merit will be provided to top 10 entries.
- e-Certificates will be given to all participants.
What are the Guidelines for Submission?
- The range should be around 1500-4000 words. (exclusive of the footnotes and abstract).
- The author may or may not include an abstract in the article.
- co-authorship not considered
- The authors are expected to footnote their sources using any uniform citation method.
- The authors are expected to ensure that the text of the submission is in Times New Roman and the size of font is 12 with line spacing of 1.5. For the footnotes, present in the submission, the same shall be in Times New Roman,
- font size 12 and line spacing of 1.5-2.0.
- The submission must be made in a word file only (.doc or .docx format).
- The article should be the author’s original work and should not be published previously or not be in consideration for publication elsewhere.Entries must be in either in English or Hindi.
- Attach the file and email to- nehakhanna.fjs@ramauniversity.ac.in . Mention the following details in the email- Name, course, semester, theme.
