Legal Career Opportunities: Expert Talk Series
An expert talk on the theme “Building a Successful Career in Law: Insights from Experts” was successfully organized by the Faculty of Juridical Sciences (FJS) on 30 March 2026, under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall. The session was conducted from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in Room No. 5028, VC Building, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members.
The keynote speaker, Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Bhatt, Director, Amity Law School, Amity University Gurugram, delivered an insightful and engaging lecture on the evolving dynamics of the legal profession. He highlighted contemporary and emerging areas such as cyber law, data protection, artificial intelligence, and international arbitration. He also provided valuable guidance on diverse career avenues including litigation, corporate law, policy research, and academia.
The Head of Department, Ms. Riddhi Tripathi, emphasized the importance of such expert interactions in shaping students’ professional outlook and enhancing their understanding of the legal domain.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Vir Vikram Bahadur Singh, along with the dedicated efforts of the faculty members of the Law Department, whose support ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the programme.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, wherein students actively engaged with the speaker by raising queries related to career planning and skill development. Overall, the expert talk proved to be highly informative and beneficial, enriching the academic experience of the participants and providing valuable direction for their future careers.
