FJS Rama University Celebrates National Sports Day with One-Day Sports Event

Empowering Youth Through Sports: FJS Hosts National Sports Day Events
On the occasion of National Sports Day (29th August 2025), Sport Club of Faculty of Juridical Sciences (FJS) Rama University organized a grand one-day sports competition. The aim of this event was to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among students.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Prabhat Ranjan (Registrar), and Professor (Dr.) Indrajeet Gupta (Dean Academics).In his inspiring address, Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, Dean of the Faculty of Juridical Sciences, stated:
“Sports are an integral part of life. They not only build physical strength but also develop mental balance, discipline, and leadership skills.”

- Run for Nation – A symbolic race dedicated to national pride

Singh, Dr. Sadhana Trivedi, Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, Dr. Kaneez Fatima, Mr. Rahul Singh, Mr. Manish Srivastava, Ms. Nivedita Rai, Ms. Vaishnavi Shukla, and Ms. Diksha Taneja.The sports activities were held under the supervision and guidance of sports Teacher Mr. Ajay Pratap Singh, Mr. Ashutosh Trivedi, and Mr. Dhananjay Singh.
Prize Distribution:
After the competitions, a prize distribution ceremony was held.
- Boys’ winning team received their awards from Dr. Sameer Mishra (Dean, Student Welfare).
- Girls’ winning team was awarded by Dr. Anita Yadav.
The enthusiastic participation and energetic involvement of the students made this event a memorable and inspiring occasion. Through this celebration, Rama University reaffirmed the significance of sports alongside academics, emphasizing that sports instill unity, dedication, and a spirit of patriotism among students.
