Improving Farmer’s Income & Maintain Ecological Balance Focused on Agricultural Education Day Celebration

To develop an insight into the importance of agricultural education as an essential part of the development of Farmer’ lifestyles and overall agricultural development Agricultural Education Day was celebrated on December 3, 2021. This event was organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries, Rama University, Kanpur. The day was celebrated on the Agricultural field of Faculty Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries within the University premises. The further details of the event are mentioned below.

About the Event:
The program was started with the inauguration by Dr. Prateek Singh, Director, Dr. Hari Om Sharan, Dean Academic Affairs, Mr. R.K.Yadav, Controller examination, Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean, FASAI, Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, Dean, FCM, Dr. Aditya Mishra, Dean, FPS, Dr. Ravi Gupta, Dean, FJS, Dr. Kartikey Bisen, HOD, FASAI & all faculty members followed by visiting in the exhibition by the dignitaries.
The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries students had prepared the models about different improved agricultural practices that aim to enhance the Farmer’s income and maintain the ecological balance by sustaining the natural resources to be used by future generations. Students displayed the setup and working of the Integrated Farming System model that is the central system, aiming to emphasize that surplus output of one factor can be used as the input of another factor of agricultural production.
This system can be beneficial to provide the farmers the year-round employment and a sustainable income which may check the undesirable and distressed migration of farmers from villages to cities. The dignitaries appreciated the efforts made by the students. Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean, FASAI, thanked all the dignitaries for their appearance. Overall it was a successful program.
