Debating the Future of Hindi – FJS Leads the Dialogue
The Manthan Club, the student-led initiative of FJS , Rama University, under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, Dean (FJS), organized a grand Debate Competition on the occasion of Hindi Diwas on 15th September 2025.

The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, who emphasized the importance of language in preserving cultural identity and national unity. The event was graced by the presence of senior professors and esteemed guest judges, whose encouragement inspired students to participate in intellectually stimulating activities that foster critical thinking and articulate expression.
A large number of students participated enthusiastically in the debate, presenting compelling arguments both in favor of and against the motion. The participants eloquently highlighted the cultural richness, national identity, and global potential of the Hindi language, while also acknowledging the contemporary challenges it faces in the digital and technological era.
Following a rigorous and insightful evaluation process, the winners were declared as follows:
- First Position: Shivani – B.A. LL.B., 7th Semester
- Second Position: Anamta Qamar – B.B.A. LL.B., 5th Semester
- Third Position: Keshav Tiwari – B.A. LL.B., 3rd Semester
The winners were felicitated with certificates and medals in recognition of their outstanding performances.
The event was successfully organized under the leadership of the Manthan Club, comprising:

During her address, Ms. Riddhi Tripathi, Head of the Department, Faculty of Juridical Sciences, remarked:
The club’s activities were ably supported and coordinated by Mr. Maneesh Srivastava, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Juridical Sciences, who served as the Faculty Coordinator of the Manthan Club.
“Hindi is not just a medium of communication but the living soul of Indian culture. It is the duty of today’s youth to carry it forward with pride and confidence.”
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the organizers, marking yet another successful celebration of Hindi Diwas at Rama University, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to cultural heritage and academic excellence.
