Mission Shakti 5.0: Law Students Conduct Workshop on Legal Rights and Women Empowerment
As part of the Government of India's Mission Shakti 5.0 initiative, the Faculty of Juridical Sciences (FJS), Rama University, successfully organised a Workshop and Legal Awareness Programme on Women Empowerment on 26th September 2026. The workshop was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall (Dean), with active participation and coordination by law students, aiming to empower young women through legal literacy and awareness.
The primary goal of the event was to educate female students about their legal rights, protections, and the various government schemes available to them. The event particularly focused on strengthening awareness about women’s safety, equality, and empowerment in alignment with the objectives of Mission Shakti 5.0.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. Riddhi Tripathi (Head of Department), who also addressed the gathering. In her speech, she stressed the importance of legal awareness among women, underlining the need for them to be self-reliant and assertive in today’s world.

The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from all girl students of FJS, Rama University.
Interactive activities such as Q&A sessions, group discussions, and scenario-based legal awareness exercises made the event highly engaging. Students were encouraged to raise questions, share opinions, and express their concerns openly.
