Law Students Unite for National Integrity, Unity, and Harmony on the Occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2025

The Faculty of Juridical Sciences (FJS), Rama University, Kanpur, organized the Ekta Pledge on 31st October 2025 in Lecture Hall–203, 2nd Floor, VC Building, under the direction of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall and the convenorship of Ms. Riddhi Tripathi (Head of Department). The event was held to commemorate National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas), celebrated every year to honor the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the “Iron Man of India.”
The program commenced with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of National Unity Day and the monumental role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the unification of India. Ms. Riddhi Tripathi addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of unity, harmony, and national integration in building a strong and progressive nation.
Following the address, all faculty members and students took the Ekta Pledge with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor, reaffirming their commitment to preserve the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. Around 60 students, along with faculty members, actively participated in the event, making it a meaningful and inspiring occasion.
The event aimed to instill a sense of collective responsibility among students toward upholding the principles of unity and integrity envisioned by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Faculty of Juridical Sciences continues to organize such initiatives to foster values of patriotism, social harmony, and national pride among its students.
