23 Feb 2026
A One Day Workshop on “LLM for Young Developers – Developed by Meta (India-AI)” was successfully organized on 19 February 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET). The workshop was conducted for students of B.Tech (CSE, AIML, BioTech), BCA, and MCA with the objective of introducing them to the fundamentals and practical applications of Large Language Models (LLMs).
The session aimed to provide young developers with a foundational understanding of LLMs, their architecture, real-world use cases, and the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence in various domains. The workshop covered key topics such as introduction to Generative AI, working of Large Language Models, prompt engineering techniques, ethical considerations in AI, and practical implementation strategies.
The highlight of the workshop was the hands-on training session where students actively worked on live demonstrations and practical exercises. Participants explored how LLMs can be used for content generation, coding assistance, data analysis, and chatbot development. The interactive session encouraged students to experiment with prompts and understand model behavior in real-time, enhancing their technical confidence and problem-solving skills.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different programs. Faculty members also guided students throughout the session to ensure effective learning outcomes. The event created a collaborative and innovative learning environment within the campus.
At the end of the workshop, all participants were awarded certificates for successfully completing the “LLM For Young Developers – Foundational Course”, issued under the India-AI initiative developed by Meta. The certification added significant value to the students’ academic and professional profiles.
Overall, the workshop proved to be highly informative and beneficial, empowering students with essential AI skills required for the future technology landscape.
