Ph.D. Orientation Programme 2026 Organized by R&D Cell, Rama University

The Ph.D. Orientation Programme (January 2026) was successfully organized by the Research & Development (R&D) Cell, Rama University on 6th February 2026 at the Ph.D. Cell, Vice Chancellor Building, Rama University.
The programme featured an inspiring address by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Janardhana Amaranath B.J, who motivated the research scholars by sharing valuable insights on quality research, innovation, and the vital role of Ph.D. scholars in promoting academic excellence and contributing to societal development.
Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar, Dean (R&D), briefed the participants on the research ecosystem of Rama University, including institutional research policies, available facilities, publication norms, and expectations from doctoral scholars.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, Ph.D. Convenor, who formally welcomed the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, faculty research coordinators, and newly admitted research scholars. He highlighted the objectives of the orientation programme and emphasized the importance of research ethics, academic discipline, and institutional support for doctoral research.
Dr. R. Sujatha, Principal, RMCH&RC, also addressed the gathering and shared her perspectives on interdisciplinary research and collaborative academic practices.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Nalini Kanta Sahoo, Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, who expressed sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, dignitaries, faculty members, coordinators, and participants for the successful conduct of the programme.
Around 20 research scholars participated in the orientation programme. The event was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Divya Sengar (Admission Counselor) and Mr. Sudhir Savita, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the programme.
Overall, the Ph.D. Orientation Programme 2026 proved to be highly informative and motivating, providing clear academic direction and research guidance to newly admitted doctoral scholars.
