About the Competition
The Skeletal Relay Race was creatively structured into several vigorous rounds, each aiming to evaluate participants' understanding of the human skeletal system. The competition challenged students to:Identify various bones of the human skeleton, accurately locate each bone within the body, Explain the primary functions of the identified bones. This innovative format not only encouraged academic excellence but also fostered teamwork, speed, and precision in anatomical knowledge.
The competition was conducted under the supervision of expert judges from the Faculty of Nursing. Participants were assessed on the basis of:Accuracy of bone identification, Correct anatomical placement, Clear explanation of bone functions, Team coordination and time management. After a rigorous evaluation, the judges declared three winners who demonstrated exceptional knowledge and quick thinking in human anatomy.
At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Jasmi Johnson commended both the organizers and the students for their active involvement, creativity, and dedication. She highlighted the importance of such interactive programs in reinforcing theoretical concepts through practical, fun-based learning.
The event was a resounding success, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and educational value to the ongoing celebration of nurses and their vital role in healthcare. It stood as a testament to the commitment of Rama University in nurturing competent, confident, and well-rounded nursing professionals.
