Rama University Collaborates with WWF for an Eye-Opening Workshop on Water Footprint

RAMA University's Faculty of Commerce and Management recently teamed up with the world's leading conservation organization, WWF, to celebrate the World Water Day Week. The two-day workshop on "Water Footprint" was an excellent opportunity to raise awareness among the students about the significance of water conservation.
On the first day, the students were greeted by the WWF team, who initiated the workshop with some fun and interactive management games. The students played games like snakes and ladders, where they learned about the impact of water conservation.
The workshop was spearheaded by the high-profile WWF team, consisting of esteemed members like Ms. Yogita Singh, Associate Coordinator for Stakeholder and Outreach, WWF-India, and Mr. Rajesh Bajpai, Senior Coordinator for Rivers, Wetlands, and Water Policy. The students also had the privilege of learning from Prof. (Dr.) Manish Dhingra, Professor and Dean (R & D), Rama University, and the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Alok Pande, CEO i-Tech and Mentor Niti Aayog.
The second day began with a panel discussion on water conservation led by the students of FCM. Prof. A.K Dubey, Retd. Professor, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
The workshop culminated with an extension activity conducted by the students of FCM in the nearby village of Kukradev. The students put their newfound knowledge into action and raised awareness about water conservation.
The workshop was a great success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of RAMA University and WWF. It left the students with a deeper understanding of their water footprints and how they can make a difference in conserving this precious resource.
