Rama University, Kanpur Organises Tiranga Rangoli Competition to Celebrate Patriotism, Creativity and National Pride

Celebrating Patriotism through Creativity
On the occasion of Independence Day Celebration 2026, Rama University, Kanpur organised a “Tiranga Rangoli Competition” as part of “Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan – 2026” on 08 August 2026 at 10:30 AM at the FET Building, Rama University. The event was organised to promote patriotism, national pride, creativity, teamwork, and awareness about the significance of the Indian National Flag among the students. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various faculties of Rama University. The participants used vibrant colours and innovative designs depicting the Indian Tricolour, Ashoka Chakra, national symbols, patriotic messages, and the spirit of the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan.
The event was organised by Ms. Niladrita Deb, Faculty of Nursing and Dr. Komal Mishra, Faculty of Ayurveda, under the guidance of Dr. Deeksha Ranjan, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and Prof. Vipin, Faculty of Nursing.
The rangolis were evaluated by the esteemed judges, Dr. Jasmi Johnson, Dean, Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Anita Yadav, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Science and Allied Industries. The judges evaluated all rangolis on the basis of creativity and originality, relevance to the theme, artistic presentation, colour combination, neatness, finishing, and overall patriotic appeal. They appreciated the sincere efforts and innovative ideas displayed by all the participating teams. The competition successfully conveyed the message of strengthening the spirit of unity, patriotism, and national pride among the students.
Overall, the Tiranga Rangoli Competition – Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan-2026 was successfully conducted and concluded on a positive and patriotic note, leaving a memorable impression on all participants and faculty members.
