Rama University Launches Grand Rama Sports Fest 2025–26 Celebration

Marking the beginning of a vibrant seven-day sport celebration the Sports Fest brings together students from various departments of Rama University who will compete in 40 different sports such as Athletics, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, Tug of War, Javelin, Kabbaddi, Shot Put, Lawn Tennis, Weight lifting and many more, aiming to win the prestigious Champions Trophy 2025–26.The inauguration ceremony commenced with the ribbon cutting, lamp lightening, facilitation of Guests and Dignitaries an impressive March Past, where students proudly represented their departments, showcasing discipline and unity. The event was graced by Honorable Director, Dr. Pranav Singh Sir, and Honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Janardhana Amaranath B.J. and Event chairperson, Dr. Ashish Sawhny, who motivated students through their inspiring addresses and emphasized the importance of sports in holistic development. The ceremony was further enlivened by enthusiastic dance performances reflecting the vibrant states by the students of the university followed by the unveiling of the great Champions Trophy. The inauguration set an energetic tone for the week-long competition, promising excitement, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the festival. Overall it was a successful event.
