Rama University Marks 70th Birth Anniversary of Founder Director Dr. B. S. Kushwah

On September 11, 2025, Rama University observed the 70th birth anniversary of Honorable Founder Director, Rama Group, Dr. B. S. Kushwah Sir, with a dignified and heartfelt ceremony.
The event united faculty members, students, staff, and distinguished guests in paying homage to a visionary leader whose invaluable contributions continue to guide the institution and the field of education. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a floral tribute to Honorable Founder Director, Rama Group, Dr. B. S. Kushwah sir. Thereafter, Dr. Suraj B. S. Kushwah, Honorable Chancellor, addressed the gathering, fondly recalling the founder’s remarkable journey, his vision for inclusive education, and his lifelong commitment to community upliftment. He underlined Dr. Kushwah’s firm belief in the power of knowledge to transform society. During the event, Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Janardhana, A.B.J., Registrar, Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, Controller of Examination, Dr. R. K. Yadav, Dean, Academics (FET), Dr. Indrajeet Gupta and Convener of the Event, Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean FASAI, also paid their heartfelt tributes about Dr. Kushwah’s visionary leadership, expressed gratitude for his contributions, and reaffirmed their collective resolve to carry forward his ideals and mission. Students of Rama University then presented devotional bhajans, which created a serene and reverent ambiance. Dignitaries, deans, heads of departments, along with faculty and staff, also joined in offering flowers, expressing deep respect and admiration for Dr. Kushwah’s enduring legacy of educational excellence. To symbolize the founder’s generosity and compassion, stationery kits were distributed to children from adopted Villages by Honorable Chancellor, Dr. Suraj B. S. Kushwah Sir. This thoughtful gesture reaffirmed Rama University’s ongoing mission to extend educational support to those in need, in line with Dr. Kushwah’s values. The ceremony also featured the recognition of students who had successfully launched startups or received awards and financial assistance.
