Rama University Students Explore Amul’s Creative Advertising and Effective Brand Communication Strategies

The Faculty of Commerce & Management, Rama University, organized a Case Study on Amul – Advertising and Brand Communication on 11th September, 2026 for the students of BBA 2nd Year. The session was conducted by Dr. Shivani Anand with the objective of helping students understand advertising and brand communication through a practical and familiar brand example.
The session focused on Amul's distinctive advertising style, including its creative communication, humour, topical advertisements, memorable copy, Amul Girl, and consistent brand identity. Students were also introduced to how Amul has adapted its communication across traditional and digital media while maintaining a strong and recognizable brand image.
The case study generated keen interest and active participation among the students. Through examples of Amul advertisements, students were able to connect classroom concepts with real-life advertising practices and understand how creativity, relevance and consistency contribute to brand recall and consumer connection.
The session proved to be an informative and engaging learning experience, encouraging students to look at advertising from a marketer's perspective and appreciate the role of effective communication in building a successful brand.
