The AirPro-RAMA: Focused Difficult Airway CME & Hands-on Workshop was successfully organized by the Department of Anaesthesiology at Rama Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (RMCHRC), Mandhana, Kanpur, on August 30, 2026. Chief Guest Speaker Dr. Tanmay Tiwari (Professor, KGMU) inaugurated the 8-hour event, which drew 60 healthcare professionals, including anaesthesiologists, intensivists, emergency physicians, and residents. Led by a distinguished organizing team alongside prominent expert faculty from institutions like KGMU, GSVM, Kannauj Medical College, Narayana Medical College, and RMLIMS, the workshop aimed to enhance clinical decision-making and manual dexterity in handling anticipated and unanticipated difficult airway scenarios. Through comprehensive, expert-led academic sessions and highly structured hands-on training stations, participants successfully advanced their practical skills in critical techniques—including video laryngoscopy, supraglottic airway devices, fibreoptic intubation, airway ultrasound, preoxygenation strategies, and emergency surgical cricothyrotomy. Ultimately, the interactive program achieved its goals by significantly elevating the participants' preparedness, technical confidence, and team-based communication during airway emergencies.
