The Faculty of Nursing, Rama University, Kanpur, organized a vibrant Fresher’s Day celebration to welcome the new M.Sc. Nursing Batch 2025–2026 on the campus. The program was hosted with great enthusiasm by the 2nd Year M.Sc. Nursing students (Batch 2024–2025) Ms. Laxmi and Mrs. Sandhya to extend a warm welcome to their juniors and help them adapt to the new academic journey with joy and confidence.
The event began with a formal inaugural ceremony, which included the lighting of the lamp and a prayer song, symbolizing wisdom and knowledge. The respected Principal, faculty members, and senior students graced the occasion and conveyed their best wishes to the freshers. In her address, the principal Dr.Jasmi Johnson highlighted the importance of academic excellence, professional discipline, and holistic development during the M.Sc. Nursing course.
The highlight of the celebration was a series of cultural performances including dance, and creative presentations by the senior students, which added liveliness and excitement to the event. Various fun games and interactive sessions were also conducted to engage the freshers and bring out their talents. The fresher’s actively participated, showcasing their skills, enthusiasm, and confidence.
A special segment was organized for the selection of Ms. Fresher 2025, judged on the basis of personality, confidence, and creativity. Ms. Sudipa wins the title of ‘Ms. Fresher’ The winner was crowned amidst loud cheers and applause, making the day a memorable one for all.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by a representative of the senior Ms. Vaishnavi, acknowledging the guidance of faculty, the efforts of organizing committee members, and the active participation of juniors. The day ended with a sense of joy, unity, and new beginnings, leaving behind beautiful memories for both seniors and freshers.
