Faculty of Allied & Healthcare Sciences organised an awareness event on the occasion of World AIDS Day on 1st Dec 2025 under the theme laid this year by World Health Organization “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response” under the guidance of our respected Principal Sir Dr.Brijendra Nigam. The program was conducted between 09:30am to 12:00pm at LT-03, FAHS,Rama University. A total of 82 students from BMLT,BPT, BOPTO & DMLT 1ST Yr courses along with faculties Dr. Nidh Agarwal, Mrs. Swastika Singh Chandel ,Dr. Gulwish Sadique, Dr. Nidhi Shukla, Dr. Minhaj Tahir, Dr. Apoorva Srivastava, Mrs. Simmi Singh, and Mr. Satyendra Singh Sachan participated.
Objectives of the event:-
It spreads awareness about HIV/AIDS, dispels misconceptions and creates empathy towards people living with HIV
Event Highlights:
- The event commenced with a vibrant awareness rally, where participants marched through the streets, distributing pamphlets and raising awareness about HIV/AIDS.
- This was followed by a captivating nukkad natak (street play) performed by DMLT 1st year students, which effectively conveyed the importance of HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention.
- The formal program began with a warm welcoming speech, accompanied by lamp lighting and Ganesh Vandana, setting a solemn tone for the event.
- The students also presented an impressive poster presentation, highlighting the facts, risks, and prevention strategies for HIV/AIDS.
- A musical skit was also performed, which entertained and educated the audience about HIV/AIDS awareness.
- Principal Sir emphasized the importance of HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and support for those affected. He highlighted the institution's commitment to promoting health and well-being.
